Who we are

NUC University is an institution authorized by the Board of Post-secondary Institutions of Puerto Rico (JIP) (the localities in Puerto Rico; authorized by the Commission for Independent Education (CIE) in the state of Florida (the localities in the state of Florida NUC University (NUC) is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or the Commission) www.msche.org. NUC’s NUC University – IBC Technical Division (NUC-IBC), NUC University – Florida Technical College (NUC-FTC), The Digital Animation & Visual Effects School (The DAVE School), and Hillsboro Aero Academy (HAA) are included in this accreditation.
NUC’s accreditation status is Accreditation Reaffirmed. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status on 2019 was to reaffirm accreditation. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation (candidate status) activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. The Commission’s geographic area of accrediting activities is throughout the United States.

NUC has four additional academic units: NUC University – IBC Technical Division (NUC-IBC), NUC University – Florida Technical College (NUC-FTC), The Digital Animation & Visual Effects School (The DAVE School); and Hillsboro Aero Academy (HAA). The Institution is approved by the United States Department of Education to process federal Title IV financial aid for eligible students and by the Approving Agency for Veterans Educational Services. NUC University – Division Online is an institution dedicated to offering programs at the doctorate, master’s, bachelor’s, associate degree and graduate certificate levels. This has been the election for a diverse population for years.

NUC University – Online Division provides students an education of excellence that promotes their integral development. We are focused on providing service to the student, with the technology and a dynamic study environment in which we are able to serve our student population in English or Spanish.
