Because we know it has been a very difficult school year, with many obstacles; because you have been struggling all year to complete your high school and you finally did it. But we know you want to achieve more, so we’ve created a scholarship especially for you to help you take the next step.
The High School Senior scholarship awards $200.00 to students enrolled in programs leading to a diploma, and $300.00 to students enrolled in programs leading to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. The scholarship is applicable to one term of study. For the first 100 scholarships applied for, an additional $200.00 will be awarded to students who show evidence of having completed high school with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Requirements:

1 – Complete the High School Senior Scholarship application by June 30.
2 – Having completed high school in the year of admission to NUC or its IBC extension centers.
3 – Be a resident of Puerto Rico.
4 – Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
5 – For the additional amount, you must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Applications will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis, and we encourage you to apply on time, as funds available for these scholarships are limited.
